How to become a Christian with scriptures all taken from the book of Romans:

Roman Road

Romans 10:17 - Faith comes from hearing the Word of God.

Romans 3:10, 23 - All of us are guilty of sin.

Romans 6:23 - The wages (or result) of sin is both physical and spiritual death.

Romans 5:8 - "God demonstrates His love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Jesus Christ died for us."

Romans 2:4 - God's kindness leads us toward repentance (a change of heart & behavior).

Romans 10:9, 13 - We need to confess belief that Jesus is the Christ, Lord and Savior.

Romans 6:4 - We should be "buried with Christ through baptism, to walk in newness of life."

What happens when you become a Christian?

Sins are forgiven

Colossians 2:14-15

You become a child of God

John 1:12-13

You are at peace with God

Romans 5:1

You have the Holy Spirit

Ephesians 1:13-14

You have passed from death to life

John 5:24

You have the hope of heaven

Colossians 1:4-5

You are declared righteous before God

Romans 3:24

Romans 3:10 (All Have Sinned) As it is written: There is no one righteous, not even one.

Romans 3:23 (All Have Sinned) for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 5:12 (Sin's Penalty) Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.

Romans 6:23 (Sin's Penalty) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in [1] Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 5:8 (Christ Paid the Penalty) But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9,10 (Salvation through Faith) That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Romans 10:13 (Salvation through Faith) for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." [2]

Romans 6:3,4 (Be Baptized)

Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death?4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.
