Bible
The Bible is the inspired word of God and is the final authority in matters pertaining to each Christian and the Church. II Timothy 3:16
The New Birth
The Bible teaches the reality of the new birth for each person accepting Christ. John 3:5
Salvation
It is Jesus that saves us and the Bible tells us how to be saved. It is by grace, Ephesians 2:8 & 9, through faith, Ephesians, 2:8 & 9, in baptism, Colossians, 2:9-12, and for good works, Ephesians 2:10 and James 2:17. Also, look at
Hebrews 11:6, Acts 2:38; 22:16, Romans 6:1-4, and I Peter 3:21.
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit lives in the life of each believer. Acts 2:38, Romans 8:11, and I Corinthians 6:19-20
Worship
Worship is held each Sunday, as they did in the early church as recorded in the book of Acts. The Lord's supper is served each Sunday. Acts 20:7 and I Corinthians 11:26
Christian Living
Each follower of Jesus should live a life that pleases Him. Roman 12:1-2; Colossians 3:1-17
Second Coming of Christ
The Bible teaches that Jesus will return at the end of time. Matthew 24:36; I Thessalonians 4:13-18
Evangelism
The spreading of the gospel is the work of each Christian and the Church. Matthew 28:18-20
Self-Governing Churches
The Bible teaches that the local church is to be directed by its own leaders. Acts 14:23; Acts 20: 17-38 - Leaders are selected by the congregation.
Ministry
Each member should use their gifts and talents to minister in the local church. Romans 12:3-8
Assurance of Salvation
The Christian can know about their status with God. John 5:24 and I John 5:13
